Iana (Ian-ah/ee-yah-nah) is a senior majoring in Physics with a minor in French and Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences (EAPS). She is interested in studying the impacts of natural phenomena on climate, tropical climate and has developed a profound appreciation for the Antarctic world through her work with Professor Solomon. Iana’s current research involves examining Antarctic ozonesondes to understand the effects of natural phenomena on the Antarctic ozone hole. In her spare time, Iana can be found reading, solving sudoku puzzles and nonograms or engaging in the physical escape of lawn tennis.
